50 Cent Ringtones for Mobile Phones
Curtis James Jackson III was born on 6 July 1975 in South Jamaica, Queens. He is a famous American rapper, commonly known by his stage name 50 Cent. He rose to fame after the great success of his albums "Get Rich or Die Tryin" and "The Massacre". Nowadays, 50 Cent has achieved multi-platinum success with both these albums, selling over 21 million records worldwide. Initially he kept some business connections in the criminal world, but soon left away in favour of pursuing a solo career as a rap artist. After the release of his mixtape compilation "Guess who is back" in 2002, 50 Cent was discovered by rapper Eminem and signed to Interscope Records. With the enormous help of Eminem and Dr Dre - who produced his first major commercial successes - 50 Cent became one of the most successful rap artists in the world. Recently, he has founded the highly successful record label G-Unit Records. Later, 50 Cent currently goes in Farmington, Connecticut, in the former mansion of boxer Mike Tyson. He tends to release two solo albums by February 2008. Eminem first encountered 50 Cent with MTV News reporter Sway Calloway, although Eminem apparently had not heard any of his performances before seeing him personally. 50 Cent appeared on the "8 Mile" soundtrack with an accompanying song and video "Wanksta" that immediately entered BET, MTV, and another radio stations across the country. In the opinion of many observers his continued success seems guaranteed by his large underground fanbase and the street credibility that 50 Cent has gained by appearing on almost every major mix tape sold in New York in the past few years.
