Backstreet Boys Ringtones
The Backstreet Boys are a well-known Grammy-nominated male vocal pop group that won enormous success in the mid-late 90s and 2000. They have placed twelve American Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, sixteen English Top 10 songs and have won numerous awards, making them the best selling boyband of all-time. Since they return to the music scene in 2005, their complete sound changed drastically, incorporating only live instruments - some of which they play themselves and a more distinctive rock edge. Nowadays this four-member group consists of Nick Carter - born on 28 January 1980, Howie Dorough - born on 22 August 1973, Brian Littrell - born on 20 February 1975, and A J McLean - born on 9 January 1978. Their final initial member Kevin Richardson left the group on 23 June 2006. Originally, Lou Pearlman, an aviation entrepreneur based in Florida, was inspired by the success of the "New kids on the block" in the 80s to create his own pop band. After a series of auditions in 1992 and 1993, he recruited Nick Carter - the youngest member of this group, Howie Dorough - 19, Alexander James McLean - 14 and after the departure of two members - Sam Licata - later singing under the name Phoenix Stone, and Charles Edwards - Kevin Richardson appears in March 1993 when he was 21. Backstreet Boys took its final shape on 19 April 1993, when Brian Littrell - cousin of Richardson, also joined the group after a phone audition. Their first concert, on 8 May 1993, was performed before 3 000 teenagers at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. Later, Pearlman began to book them at different grade-school assemblies and shopping malls, and gradually assigned the basic management duties to Johnny Wright, who had worked as well with "New kids on the block".
