Bob Sinclar Ringtones for Mobile Phones
Bob Sinclar is the interesting stage nickname of Christophe le Friant. He is a famous French singer and DJ, performing in great variety of music styles, such as hip-hop, house, and acid jazz. On the other hand, Bob Sinclar is also the head of the crucial French label Yellow Productions as well as a producer. Originally, Le Friant began to perform as a Parisian DJ in 1987, while still a teenager, and formed "Yellow Productions" later in 1993 with Alain Ho. Thus, several of the first records on this music company were by le Friant himself - "Messe pour le temps present" of the "Mighty bop", "Roda mundo" of the "Réminiscence quartet", and his first full-length compilation, the French hip-hop summit - "The mighty bop meet DJ Cam et la Funk Mob". Thus, in the very beginning, le Friant borrowed the name "Bob Sinclar" from a character in the popular French film "Le magnifique" and created his first "Sinclar EP", with the title "A space funk project". Shortly of that, he had his debut full-length compilation ready to go, and "Paradise" appeared soon, presented by his own company "Yellow" in the summer of 1998. But with lots of different problems around it, this album was re-released worldwide hardly in 1999. He also worked on some interesting remixes, presenting tracks by Bangalter himself, Ian Pooley, Second Crusade, and the Yellow project "Tom and Joyce" with a special additional production. Le Friant returned to the "Mighty Bop" alias in 2000 with the retrospective mix compilation "Spin my hits". In 2000, he published his first American album as Sinclar, "Champs elysées", through "Subliminal Records". The album from 2001 "Cerrone" presents Bob Sinclar mixing his personal favourite hits, created by Cerrone, one of his big influences. After topping the most dance charts in 2005 with the song "Love generation", he published the full-length "Western dream" in 2006.
