The real full name of Ciara is Ciara Princess Harris. She was born on 25 October 1985 in Austin, Texas. She is well-known today as a Grammy Award-winning American singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer, and occasional actress. Ciara recorded her debut in the summer of 2004 with her first Billboard number-one single "Goodies". It was written together with Sean Garret, who also co-wrote "Yeah", and produced by Lil Jon, in the fresh crunk and r and b style, first originated by Usher. Thus, in 2004, she became the first female to release a song in this genre and after it became popular, she won the title of the "First lady of crunk and r and b". The album "Goodies" appeared on the global market on 28 September 2004. Shortly after that, she also released her "Goodies" video clips in 2005 which includes music videos from the album and the making of "1, 2, step" as a bonus song. It produced three top two singles on the Billboard Hot 100, has sold 2,6 million in the United States and over three million worldwide. It also earned various awards and nominations. The second album of Ciara, "Ciara - the evolution", was recorded on 5 December 2006. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling more than 338,000 copies, which is 213,000 more than her debut compilation "Goodies" which began at number three. So far, this album has also entered three top thirty singles on the Billboard Hot 100. In May 2005, Ciara made her acting debut in the coming-of-age film "All you have got", as Becca Watley, the queen bee of a high school volleyball team and in the "Little Madonnas" . The second film was also published on DVD on 23 May 2006.
