Destinys Child Ringtones
Destiny's Child was a famous three-time Grammy Award-winning American r and b girl group. Originally presenting four members, this band eventually became a trio, including lead singer Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. Today, Destiny's Child have already sold a combined 70 million albums and singles all over the world and according to the "World Music Awards" they are the best selling female group of all time. On 12 June 2005, this group announced its final tour in Barcelona before they began pursuing individual careers in music, theater, television and cinema. Destiny's Child was originally founded in Houston, Texas in 1990, when its initial members Beyoncé Knowles and LaTavia Roberson were nine years old. The father of Beyonce, Mathew Knowles was always set about developing a performance based on their singing and rapping, under the name "Girl s tyme", which included r and b singers Keke Wyatt and Támar. Because of this involvement, Beyoncé Knowles was always the leader of the group. Girl s Tyme landed an appearance on Star Search, where they performed a hip hop song, but unfortunately, they did not win that particular competition. LaTavia Roberson met Kelly Rowland in elementary school and soon acquainted her with Beyoncé. In 1993, LeToya Luckett also joined the group. This initial quartet underwent several name changes - Girl s Tyme, The Dolls, Something Fresh, and Cliché - before sticking with Destiny's Child, based on a passage in the Book of Isaiah in the Bible. In 1995, Destiny's Child entered a new contract with Elektra Records but got later dropped. In 1997, this group was offered another recording contract by Columbia Records. Thus, this band made their official recording debut with "Killing time", which then appeared on the soundtrack for the film "Men in Black" from 1997.
