Sean John Combs, more popular as Puff Daddy and later as Diddy, was born on 4 November 1969 in New York. He is undoubtedly extremely famous American Grammy-winning entertainment performer, record producer, actor and rapper. Diddy has chosen his shorter nickname since August 2005, and previously, he had been known as Puff Daddy or P Diddy. Nowadays, Combs possesses a huge media empire that includes the record label "Bad boy records", the clothing lines "Sean John" and "Sean", a movie production company, and two restaurants. He has taken lots of roles through his professional development - recording executive, performer, producer of the show "Making the band" on MTV, writer, arranger, clothing designer, and Broadway actor. He soon formed "The Hitmen", an in-house production team of his recording company. Meanwhile, Ma and D-Block, popular as "The Lox" at this time also joined "Bad Boy", and afterwards began their publicized rivalry with "Death Row Records" from the West Coast. Diddy has recently finished recording his latest compilation, named "Press play", consisting collaborations with Christina Aguilera, Nas, Big Boi, Twista, Just Blaze, Pharrell, Brandy, Mary J Blige and Keyshia Cole among many others which appeared on the global music market on 17 October 2006. Another special collaboration between Puff Daddy and David Bowie became the main soundtrack to "Training Day", and meanwhile Combs began working with Britney Spears and N SYNC, too. Soon, he signed California-based pop girl group Dream to his Bad Boy Records label. He was also an opening performer for N SYNC on their special tour for "Celebrity" in the spring of 2002.
