Eamon Doyle was born on 19 September 1984, but is more popular with his professional stage name Eamon. He is an American pop and r and b singer and songwriter, best known for his hit single, "Fuck it - I do not want you back". Eamon was born in Staten Island, New York and he was of Italian descent. His father was also among the members of a doo wop group. Thus, Eamon began singing at the age of nine, and at the age of fifteen he caught the attention of songwriter and producer Milk Dee who had worked with musicians such as MC Lyte, Janet Jackson, and Mary J Blige. Dee and his co-producer Mark Passy helped to be refined the total sounding of his initial songs. Soon, Eamon was eventually signed to Jive Records. His debut single, "Fuck it - I do not want you back" immediately caught the attention of lots of urban, rhythmic, and pop radio stations through the country when it was released in the United States in late 2003 due to its stripped down production and un-edited performances about an ex-lover who was two-timing the singer. Jive fast tracked the release of a clip for this song and confirmed the entire album for publishing early in 2004. The single reached the top 20 of the American Billboard Hot 100, and the popularity of the song helped his new compilation, "I do not want you back", successfully to debut in the top 10 of the American Billboard 200. The success of the song prompted Jive to release this hit also internationally where it reached number-one in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands and Sweden. In Italy it became such a big hit that he sang a special Italian version, called "Solo". His second album is called "Love and pain" and again has received warm reviews in the United States and abroad with the release of his new hit, entitled "How could you - bring him home", expected in November 2007.
