Fat Joe Ringtones for Mobile Phones
Jose Antonio Cartagena was born on 19 August 1970 in The Bronx, New York, USA, and has gradually become more popular under his stage nickname Fat Joe, performing mainly rap. Thus, he became well-known also on the New York underground hip hop scene during the early and the middle of the 90s. Fat Joe was also among the members of the "D I T C Crew" or "Diggin in the crates", together with other well-respected rappers and producers, such as Showbiz and A G, Buckwild, O C, Diamond D, Big L and Lord Finesse, and was presented on the early records by various members. With his release of "Jealous ones still envy - J O S E" in 2001, Joe created two back-to-back hits with "We Thuggin", together with the famous r and b superstar R Kelly, singing the chorus and "What is luv", with the up-and-coming r and b and pop star Ashanti on its chorus and thus, went on to become one of the biggest pop hits for 2002. In late 2002, Joe also released the album "Loyalty" and had a couple of small hits, including "Crush tonite", together with Ginuwine and "All I need". This rapper also has appeared in several films, including "Empire" with John Leguizamo and Peter Sarsgaard in 2002, too. In late 2004, Fat Joe recorded another radio hit with his verse on "New York" of Ja Rule, also accompanied by Jadakiss and a chorus taken from the "100 guns" of KRS-One. In his verse, Ja Rule takes some new thinly-veiled potshots at 50 Cent, adding another chapter to their well-publicized conflict. In 2005, Fat Joe published his album, "All or nothing", whose first single was "So much more". The music clip presents an appearance by DJ Kay Slay, who has also called himself the "black Fat Joe". The second single, "Get it poppin", was produced by Scott Storch together with Nelly. In November 2006 Fat Joe created a new solo album, called "Me, myself and I". This is a return to the hardcore Fat Joe that he was when he originally came into the game. Its lead single is "Make it rain", recorded together with Lil Wayne.
