Lonestar Ringtones for Mobile Phones
Though their name might lead you to believe that the band was formed in Texas, Lonestar actually hails from Tennessee. Originally called "Texassee", the band consists of Richie McDonald - lead vocals and guitar, John Rich - lead vocals and bass, Michael Britt - lead guitar and background vocals, Dean Sams - keyboard and background vocals, and Keech Rainwater on the drums. All the members of this group are in fact Texas natives, but they just formed the new band in Tennessee in 1992. Lonestar played their first concert at Backstage Pass in Nashville in January 1993. A booking agent happened to hear this show there and impressed, he added the group to his roster, and the group headed out on the road. They performed nearly 500 shows over the next two years. In 1994, the group entered a new record contract with BNA Records. The following year they released their eponymous debut, which spawned the Top Ten hit "Tequila talkin". "Crazy nights" followed in 1997, and two years later Lonestar returned with new album "Lonely grill", which featured the main hit "Amazed". Their seasonal effort "This Christmas time" appeared on the music market in the fall of 2000, and "I am already there" followed it in the next spring. They released three more records after their certain greatest-hits compilation "From there to here" in 2003, "Let us be us again" from 2004, "Coming home" in 2005, and "Mountains" in the last year.
