M2M Ringtones for Mobile Phones
M2m is a Norwegian pop duo, consisted of two girls - Marion Elise Raven and Marit Elisabeth Larsen. Originally, they recorded their albums under Atlantic Records and Warner Music. The duo produced two main albums, "Shades of purple"and "The big room", and later followed an interesting "Greatest hits"release, after M2m disbanded under the decision of their record label. The both girls also made another album for all Norwegian children, under their respective names, called "Hubba bubba". Marion and Marit had known each other since they were five, before forming the group in the middle of the 90s. M2m debuted with their first single, "Do not say you love me", in 1999. The song was recorded also on the soundtrack of "Pokémon - the first movie"and a clip for the music was produced with them at a drive-in theater spliced with scenes from the movie. The song also became the lead single of their debut album, "Shades of purple", released in 2000. M2m proved gradually proved their whole performing style and took the world by storm again when their second compilation "The big room"was released early in 2002. The first song of it - "Everything"was immediately played all over the numerous radios stations through the country. In 2002, while on tour with Jewel, M2m was unfortunately dropped by Atlantic Records, who cited a lack of record sales, although the album went well in Norway, Asia, and Australia. Marion was later offered a new contract and released her first solo album, "Here I am", in June 2005. Marit attended the University of Oslo during her hiatus and also released debut album, "Under the surface", in March 2006. On 31 March 2006, it became clear that, in less than a month, her new compilation became a certified gold record after selling over 20,000 copies in Norway. The most interesting fact, concerning this Norwegian duo, remains that since launching their solo careers, both members have reached number one on the Norwegian singles chart - Marit for "Do not save me"and Marion, together with Meat Loaf for "It is all coming back to me now"- something that was never accomplished by M2m as a duo.
