Brian Hugh Warner was born on 5 January 1969. He was better known by his stage name Marilyn Manson as a musician and artist with a distinctive and outrageous stage and personal image as the lead singer of the band that bears the same name. His pseudonym was formed from the names Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson, illustrating what he considered the ultimate and most disturbing dualism of the entire music American culture. In early 1993, after being instructed by his new label "Nothing Interscope" not to play any local shows, Manson formed "Mrs Scabtree" group. This was a side project between he and newly hired Jeordie White. Manson played drums, while White, dressed as a black woman, shared vocal duties with the girlfriend of Manson at this time - Jessicka from "Jack Off Jill" who wore a blond wig. "Mrs Scabtree" only played two shows in South Florida. Manson has also helped or provided full scores for several major motion pictures, but some of his pieces have been cut and his name dropped from the credits. Some of his more interesting soundtrack score contributions include "From Hell,da 0", "The Matrix" and "Resident Evil". At the beginning of his music career, he has worked as an entertainment journalist for a local magazine for a while. There, he interviewed several famous musicians including Trent Reznor from the band "Nine Inch Nails", and along with his job and writing, he would also frequently go to rock clubs. Thus, Marylin Manson soon decided to create his own band. With a lot of musical influences from Ozzy Osbourne and KISS, he recruited other musicians with the same interests and started the band called "Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids". He created the name "Marilyn Manson" as a combination from the names of the movie star Marilyn Monroe and the psycho killer Charles Manson, but the name of this band would later officially change to just "Marilyn Manson", and most of the original band members would leave or be replaced, too. Manson reunited with Trent Reznor and began a new band tour with "Nine Inch Nails". Reznor would also produce the first three albums of this American singer - "Portrait of an American Family", "AntiChrist Superstar", and "Mechanical Animals". Thus, "Mechanical Animals" remains the most successful album of Marylin Manson to date.
