Red Hot Chili Peppers for Mobile Phones
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are a famous American rock band, that have won several times the prestigious music award Grammy in its history. This band was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1983 by Anthony Kiedis - vocals, Hillel Slovak - guitar, and Michael "Flea" Balzary - bass, along with drummer Jack Irons. They were originally called "Tony Flow and the Miraculous Masters of Mayhem". The current group has two new members - John Frusciante on guitar and Chad Smith on drums. Throughout their career, the band has mixed in its own way various elements of punk, funk, heavy metal, alternative, and rap. They hold the record for most number one singles on the Billboard "Modern Rock" chart with 11, and has held a record of 81 weeks at number one. The band is also ranked at number thirty in "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock" of VH1. Originally, the news about the up-and-coming band had spread quickly in United States and resulted soon as a new recording contract with EMI for them. But before the Chili Peppers could begin work on their official debut on the music market, both Slovak and Irons announced that they left it to focus more on another band they were in, "What is this". Thus, the Peppers actually released their self-titled debut in 1984 with two new members - Jack Sherman - guitar and Cliff Martinez on the drums. The band returned to the studio in early 2001 and finished "By the way" over a year later, on 9 July 2002. This album, at the time, was their most noteworthy chart debut with over 700,000 copies sold in even the first week, emerging at number two, and producing some hit singles, such as - "By the way", "The zephyr song", "Cannot stop", "Dosed", and "Universally speaking" which was only released in Europe as a single and video.
