Relient K Ringtones for Mobile Phones
Relient K is a Christian rock band, presenting the global CCM culture. They are often considered as a part of the alternative, pop punk, Christian rock, and other punk genres. This band appeared in 1998 in Canton, Ohio. They named themselves after the Plymouth Reliant K car of their main guitarist Matt Hoopes. Relient K gradually received lots of different awards in their music history including a Grammy nomination in 2003 for "Best rock gospel" Album and two Dove awards. This group broke into the mainstream in 2004 after Capitol signed them and they released their fourth record, "Mmhmm", which started at number fifteen on the Billboard 200 and produced three top five hits on Christian radio and two top 20 hits on mainstream radio stations across the country. Their fifth full length record, "Five score and seven years ago", appeared for the first time on number six on the American Billboard 200. It sold over 100,000 copies only in its first month. After "All work and no play", first demo album of the band, Todd Frescone was replaced by Stephen Cushman. Cushman played drums on the the first real hit of Relient K, "2000 A D D", and on their self-titled debut album in 2000, but left later that year to join another Christian metal band "Narcissus". Their latest single "Must have done something right" was performed on "Late night", together with Conan O Brien on 2 March 2007. They performed "The best thing" also on "The tonight show" with well-known Jay Leno on 12 April 2007. It has been determined by their manager on their special forums as the second single from their latest album. Thus, the song was released to radio on 10 April 2007. It is currently on the number ninety-one on the Top 40 charts - really a huge jump from its place at number 135 the week before.
