The Ying Yang Twins are a crunk rap duo from Atlanta, consisting of Kaine, with real name Eric Jackson, born on 16 December 1978 and D-Roc, pseudonym of D Angelo Holmes, born on 13 February 1979. Their full-length debut album, "Thug Walkin", appeared later in 2000. But "Alley Return of the Ying Yang Twins" from 2002 sold better on the Southern States of the country. On the other hand, the team-up of this duo with Lil Jon in 2003 "The King of Crunk" brought them first nationwide success. The party anthem "Salt Shaker" was a massive club and radio hit and soon the TVT label asked Ying Yang Twin to sign a contract with them. "Chemically Imbalanced" followed in 2006 on the American market. As kings of the club circuit, the Ying Yang Twins have gradually reached the top of many music charts in USA. Sure, they make classic party cuts, but a closer look at their immensely popular work reveals an unrivaled level of humour, sophistication and outlandishness that has helped the Ying Yang Twins earn legions of fans from Los Angeles to the Midwest and to their native region - the South.
