D Juan Hart was born in Atlanta, Georgia on 15 January. He is an American rapper, more popular under his stage name Young Dro who is currently signed to music label "Grand hustle" of T I. This was the excellent final result of many moves in his teen years that he befriended this famous rapper, today owner of "Grand hustle and Atlantic recording", initially neither of them had took music seriously. Originally, Young Dro has never considered a career in music until another one of his friends, Chris "Daddy Mack" Smith, scored platinum success in the early 90s duo "Kriss Kross". To make his dream a reality, Young Dro firstly met pioneering southern rapper Raheem the Dream in the late 90s, who at this time had the front man of "Pastor Troy" and "D4l" already signed to his local label. By the end of 2002, first independent single of Young Dro - "Yes sir" and his regional debut hit album "I got that Dro" appeared quite successfully on the national music market. Thus, the reuniting of these both longtime friends evolved into Young Dro signing with "Grand hustle", for his major label debut, "Best thang smokin", which soon became gold. Among the singles, presented on this compilation, "Shoulder lean" was considered as the lead single. In the summer of 2006, this track gained its presence through out the South, and then nationally, as it was well-received among the hip-hop community. It received a decent on BET, and also managed to climb to number three spot in the American Rap chart. On 27 July 2006, Young Dro peaked at number one spot on both the Billboard Urban Monitor chart as well as the R and B Urban Mainstream chart. Simultaneously, the clip also hit number one during "106 and park" countdown on BET from the previous week, in addition it secured the top spot on MTV2 where it is currently in "Elite 8". Shortly after this, Warner Music Group announced that the ring melody for the single "Shoulder lean" of Young Dro had sold over 500,000 copies. Also it had the number two clip on MTV 2006 Top Music Video Countdown. This successful album was also promoted by Semko The Realest and DJ Dro.
