Emobile Ltd was established in January 2005. Subsequently in November 2005, it was awarded a mobile license as a new operator for the first time in 12 years. Thus, this Japanese mobile provider launches its services in the spring of 2007, entering the mobile industry with completely new fresh vision. Emobile is the latest company to join the wireless market in Japan claiming to be the first carrier in the world to offer fixed-rate broadband wireless services - up to 3,6 Mbps download speed. As a wholly owned subsidiary of eAccess, this telecommunications provider began to operate at the end of last month and if you buy some of its products now, you will be able to receive most of them without paying anything until the end of May. Emobile Ltd has been the first business to enter the mobile phone market in Japan for the last 13 years and has already launched its data communication services in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Kyoto on Saturday. The company hopes to open up the market with flat-rate fees, high-speed data transmission, and especially with huge variety of Emobile ringtones. Its voice communication services are set to begin in March next year.
