It began operations under the same name on April 4, 2000. This American mobile provider already owns one of the the largest wireless telecommunications network in the United States in Puerto Rico along with Puerto Rico Telephone - PRT. Verizon Wireless recently launched also its nationwide Mobile Web service, which combines the convenience and mobility of wireless communications with popular content from the Internet.
