Alcatel's Newest Adventure
Alcatel is a big French-Chinese mobile cell phones maker and the company is making a huge coming in the US market this year, with twenty new cell-phone models. Alcatel's theme for this new splash is called -chic and stylish- and it is not expensive. The company is providing models with a leather-like finish, soft-touch plastics. Design goes like dots of liquid metal on the outside of a flip phone box, and a keypad that looks like it has water drops on it. They showed some mobile cell phones models with florid and floral covers.
Entering a Ringtone Into Your Alcatel Mobile?
We have done our best to make the input of the ringtones into your Alcatel mobile phone as simple as possible. These instructions are written for the Alcatel 303 phone model, but however most Alcatel models are similar, especially the Alcatel 300, 301 and 302 models. To Enter Ringtones Into Your Handset:
1. First, locate your ringtone composer, then press the "OK" joystick button and select "Menu", scroll down and select "Audio", then select "Ring tone". Select 'Melodies', then scroll through the ringing tunes until you reach 'My Melody 1' or "My Melody 2". Select the melody, then select 'Modify Melody'. You will now see five straight lines on your phone-screen - these represent the music scale. If there are any musical notes already shown on your phone-screen, use the C button to clear them and start making your new ringtone.
2. Enter the key-press sequence - once you have located the composer on your mobile cell-phone, you need to enter the key-press sequence given to you by the ringtone website. Look for the text similar to that in the image below, coloured in yellow. After that, just type these numbers into your phone-keypad and the display will show musical notes appearing while you press the keypad keys - as long as you press the keypad keys in the sequence shown, the ringtone will sound correctly.
3. Save the ringtone - when you finish press the 'Ok' keypad button again, and select "tempo". Change the tempo to "Andante", then press the "Ok" key and select "Listen all" to play the ringtone.
At the end, if you like your new ringtone, select "Save" to keep the ringtone on your cell-phone. If the ringtone does not sound right, probably you have missed a key, so you have to try entering the key-sequence again. That is it - it could not be easier, or cheaper to add a new ringtone to your Alcatel mobile cell phone.
